Disaster Mental Health – A State Perspective

Tuesday, July 11th from 12-1pm CST.

Alyssa Backes, Deputy Director of the Office of Disaster Services for the Missouri Department of Mental Health will discuss the state’s experience in coordinating a behavioral health response to assist Missourians in the aftermath of disaster – from deploying Behavioral Health Strike Team (BHST) to standing up a Crisis Counseling Program (CCP).

All Emergency Managers, Voluntary Agency Leaders, and Community Members having an interest or role in disaster response and recovery are welcome.
