Date: Wednesday, April 21, 2010 Time: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Lunch will be provided) Location: Johnson County EOC & Joint Communication Center, 4529 Melrose Ave., Iowa City, IA Course Description: This 1-day course reviews ICS and EOC roles and responsibilities. Exercises and group discussions are used extensively to allow participants to begin developing an interface plan for their jurisdictions. Target Audience: Incident commanders, command and general staff, and emergency operations center personnel from the same community. Personnel associated with On-Scene Incident Command, EOCs and Multiagency Coordination (MAC) systems entities. Pre-requisites: IS-100.a Objectives: This course will enable the participant to develop an effective interface between the Incident Command and Emergency Operations Center (EOC) by applying Incident Command System (ICS) principles.
