 The Sixth Annual Governor's Homeland Security Conference will take place Oct. 6-7, 2009, at the Sheraton Hotel in West Des Moines.
A special free training session will also be held Monday, Oct. 5, including:
Prepares emergency responders to react effectively, work cooperatively and apply countermeasures in any incident involving explosives.
Provides senior state and local emergency responders with the knowledge and skills needed to develop policies for the prevention, interdiction, response and mitigation of a suicide bombing attack.
