Meeting: FEMA Region VII National Disaster Recovery Framework Stakeholder Engagement

  • 01/10/2012
  • 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Regnier Hall - University of Kansas Edwards Campus, 12600 Quivira Road, Overland Park, KS 66213

Join FEMA in a presentation and discussion of the National Disaster Recovery Framework (NDRF) and how the framework's principles and concepts can be used in your community.

Created in line with the vision set forth in the Presidential Policy Directive on National Preparedness (PPD-8), the NDRF provides guidance that enables effective recovery support to disaster-impacted states, local, tribal, and territorial jurisdictions. It provides a flexible structure that enables disaster recovery managers to operate in a unified and collaborative manner. The NDRF focuses on how best to restore, redevelop and revitalize the health, social, economic, natural and environmental fabric of a community and build a more resilient Nation. FEMA encourages you to download and review a copy of the NDRF.

Pre-registration Required. For information or to RSVP, visit the NDRF registration webiste at: http://events.SignUp4.com/RegionVII_NDRF
