ICS 400 - Advanced Incident Command System

Cost: Free. Course sponsored by Iowa All-Regions Homeland Security

Audience: This course provides training and resources for personnel who require advanced application of ICS. This course expands upon information covered in ICS-100 through ICS-300.

Venue: Course will take place at the Polk County Emergency Operations Center (EOC). This facility is a very modern and capable EOC with advanced technology with flexible and generous spaces.

Prerequisites: ICS 100, 200, 300 and NIMS 700

Dates/Times: Course is scheduled to run from 0800-17000 hours on June 15 and 16, 2016.

Lunch/Snacks: Lunch is NOT provided. Coffee, water, and vending machines available.

Dress: Business casual or duty uniform is acceptable.

Parking: Free off-street parking adjacent to the building.

Travel and Lodging: Participant’s responsibility.

Attendee Reservation: The course host reserves the right to select attendees based on the best allocation of seats. Considerations include jurisdictional, disciplinary, and positional balances for course effectiveness. Registrants may be asked to forfeit their registration or have their registration cancelled due to demand and personnel balancing requirements.

Cancellation Policy: Ticket/reservation cancellation notification is required by the ticket holder with at least 48 hours notice prior to start of event to avoid cancellation penalty. The host reserves the right to apply a cancellation penalty for failure to attend without adequate notice.
